Web reporting is turned off by default when using Medidash for the first time. However, you can toggle it on and off in the account dropdown menu at the top right corner of the screen. You can just use the switch to activate the desired state.

Ethical and Secure Data Collection

  • Medidash employs a robust framework to ensure data privacy and ethical data collection.

  • The extension does not track inappropriate or unrelated websites, adhering to guardrails for ethical use.

What is tracked when web reporting is enabled via Medidash?

The plugin passively tracks non-sensitive data while users navigate the web, including:

  • URLs visited.

  • Time spent on pages.

  • Clicks and interactions with web elements.

  • Search queries entered into search engines.

  • Scrolling behavior (depth and speed).

  • Device information (e.g., screen resolution, browser type).

Privacy Measures

  • No sensitive personal information is collected.

  • Keystrokes, personal communications, login credentials, or access to secure systems are not tracked.

  • Data is encrypted during transmission and stored securely.
